Niosomes modified with cationic surfactants to increase the bioavailability and stability of indomethacin

چکیده

Niosomes based on the nonionic surfactant Tween 80 and cholesterol modified with cationic surfactants (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide or its carbamate-bearing analog) were formed by thin film hydration method. Such a modification of niosomes provides an increase in their ? potential up to 60 mV, whereas hydrodynamic diameter particles is 100 nm remains nearly unchanged when content varied from 1 3 wt.%. The inclusion anti-inflammatory drug indomethacin makes it possible exceed limiting solubility water 20 times. dialysis method demonstrated release time encapsulated 1.5 times, which prerequisite for prolonged action biosystems. study kinetics cleavage alkaline media revealed that enhanced stability providing protection against hydrolytic destruction processes.
